Encryption is used for the transfer of data. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web sites.
Website orders will be processed and shipped within 48 hours during normal business hours excluding weekends and holidays. All orders placed after 2 p.m. central-time, will not be processed until the next day, except for Fridays, then it will be processed the next Monday. You will not be charged until your order is shipped out. We will notify you of any problems or stock issues.
For online payments, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Campus Store Gift Cards.
All returns must have a valid receipt.
Pricing is subject to change without notice. All totals are calculated using new prices, as we cannot guarantee the availability of used books. Pricing changes often occur daily. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the pricing on this web site.
Textbook Return Policy
To avoid the inconvenience and possible loss to you from textbook returns we encourage you to be familiar with the returns policy. To be eligible for a refund:
You must have a valid cash register receipt and student I.D.
Books must be in saleable condition…damaged, defaced, highlighted, underlined,
or otherwise inscribed books will be treated as used books even if they were purchased new.
Books must have been purchased from The Campus Store for the current semester.
Textbooks must be returned by the 8th day of classes (in Fall and Spring semesters).
From the 8th day through the 9th week of school textbooks can be returned at 75% of the purchase price,
only if you are dropping the class. You must bring in a copy of your drop slip. After the 9th week of school
no refunds can be made on textbooks.
Defective books will be replaced with a non-defective copy of the same book in comparable condition.
*For January short courses, books must be returned by the end of the first day of classes.
*For summer sessions, books must be returned within the first three days of classes.
*Non returnable books may be eligible for buyback.*
Textbook Rental Agreement
As a currently enrolled student at Abilene Christian University you have chosen to enter into an agreement with
The Campus Store to rent a single copy of the text required for your class(es).
This loan agreement is for the current semester only.
The final return date is on or before the Monday after Finals Week.
Rental textbooks are the property of Abilene Christian University and must be returned to
The Campus Store at the end of the semester. All stickers and labels must stay on the book.
You agree to return the books in clean, lightly marked and fully resalable condition (limited writing,
highlighting or notes, etc) on or before the rental due date. (The Monday after Final Exams is the last day).
You agree to allow The Campus Store to charge your student account with the amount of a new
replacement textbook if the rental book(s) is not returned by the due date, or damaged and/or deemed
unusable by The Campus Store staff.
Rented items with defects may be exchanged within 3 days.
You will return the same book that you rented.
Any rental contract entered into after the drop/add period is non-refundable.
You are allowed the first eight days of the semester to return a rental textbook for a full refund.
You are allowed until the end of the third week of class to apply rental payment towards
purchase of same title if available.
Rental textbooks will be returned to The Campus Store immediately if a course is dropped.
ACU student ID is required at the time of rental.
Rented items must be returned to The Campus Store no later than the Monday after finals.
By signing the rental receipt you agree to these terms.
The ACU Campus Store makes every effort to give our students the highest possible price for used books and to purchase as many from our students as we are able.
Buyback operates on a first come, first served basis. The Campus Store buys back a predetermined quantity of titles that are being used for an upcoming semester. When the store limit is reached, a wholesale price will be offered, if available. Therefore, buyback quantities and prices are subject to change without notice.
Remember, if books came as a part of a set or package, please bring all original pieces. Books must be in resalable condition. Books with excessive writing, excessive highlighting, water damage, or missing pages are typically not bought back by the store.
Gift Card Terms and Conditions
Card has no value until purchased.
This gift card can be redeemed for merchandise at The Campus Store or at campusstore.acu.edu. Card is nonrefundable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law. Refunds can only be provided for unused cards with the original receipt. Register, reload and check your balance in store, online or call 866-855-4898.
